The performance promises an enchanting journey through beautiful Viennese waltzes\, emotional melodies and magnificent orchestral arrangements\, bringing the unmistakable charm of the “King of the Waltz” back to Tyneside. \nThe concert marks André Rieu’s return to Newcastle as part of his newly announced 2027 UK and Ireland tour. The Dutch violinist and conductor has spent decades building an extraordinary international following through performances that combine classical elegance with theatrical spectacle\, humour and genuine warmth. His concerts have become celebrations where audiences of different generations come together to enjoy the beauty and emotional power of live orchestral music. \nAccompanied by his celebrated Johann Strauss Orchestra\, talented soloists and special guests\, André Rieu will present a colourful musical programme featuring romantic waltzes\, beloved classical masterpieces\, opera favourites\, memorable film music and popular melodies. Beautiful costumes\, elaborate scenery and atmospheric lighting will add a theatrical dimension to the performance\, creating an evening that feels far removed from a traditional formal classical concert. \nThe setting for this special evening will be Utilita Arena Newcastle\, one of the North East’s best-known indoor entertainment venues. Located on Arena Way\, close to the River Tyne and Newcastle city centre\, the arena has welcomed major international artists since opening in 1995. With a capacity of more than 11\,000 spectators\, depending on the event configuration\, it provides an impressive setting for Rieu’s large-scale orchestral production. \nNewcastle’s musical heritage makes it a fitting destination for a performer who has dedicated his career to bringing people together through music. The city has long been associated with a lively cultural scene\, passionate audiences and memorable live performances. For André Rieu\, that connection between the stage and the audience is at the heart of every concert. \nA delicate violin melody can create a moment of quiet emotion\, while the familiar rhythm of a Strauss waltz can suddenly have thousands of people smiling\, clapping and swaying together. Rieu’s natural humour and relaxed interaction with the audience make even the largest arena feel surprisingly intimate\, creating an atmosphere where music becomes a shared celebration. \nThe 7 October 2027 Newcastle concert is particularly notable as it begins a busy three-night sequence in northern England. Following the Newcastle performance\, André Rieu and his orchestra will travel to Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena on Friday\, 8 October\, before continuing to First Direct Bank Arena in Leeds on Saturday\, 9 October. These consecutive concerts bring the maestro’s latest international touring production to three major cities across the North of England. \nFor visitors travelling from elsewhere in the North East or further afield\, Newcastle also offers an attractive setting for a memorable concert trip. The city’s famous Quayside\, historic bridges and lively restaurants provide plenty to discover before the performance. Concertgoers can enjoy an afternoon exploring the city centre\, strolling along the River Tyne or visiting nearby cultural attractions before heading to Utilita Arena. \nThe arena’s location near central Newcastle also makes it accessible for visitors arriving by public transport. Newcastle Central Station provides rail connections to cities across Britain\, while local transport services connect the venue with surrounding areas. For those planning an overnight stay\, the city offers a wide choice of hotels and restaurants within easy reach of the arena. \nAndré Rieu remains one of the world’s most successful touring classical musicians\, with more than 40 million albums sold worldwide and hundreds of thousands of concertgoers attending his performances annually. His extraordinary popularity reflects his ability to make orchestral music welcoming and entertaining without losing the elegance and musical excellence that have defined his career. \nTickets for Thursday\, 7 October 2027 go on general sale on Friday\, 23 October 2026\, at 12:00 UK time\, with a venue presale beginning the previous day. Fans looking for particular seating areas are encouraged to check the official ticketing platforms when sales begin. \nWhether you have followed André Rieu for decades or are preparing to experience the Johann Strauss Orchestra live for the first time\, 7 October 2027 at Utilita Arena Newcastle promises an evening filled with beautiful music\, heartfelt emotion and unforgettable memories. \nDon’t miss your chance — secure your Newcastle tickets and experience André Rieu and the Johann Strauss Orchestra live at Utilita Arena for a spectacular autumn evening on Tyneside. \nTickets are available on:Get Tickets \nTickets for Newcastle are available on Gigsberg ;\n \n\n \n Andre Rieu\n\n \n From:\n 139.76\n GBP\n (per ticket)\n \n\n \n Showing 12 cheapest listings.\n \n \n\n \n \n \n Category: Upper Tier\n \n Block: N/A \n \n Type: E-Ticket \n \n Available: 6 \n \n\n \n \n 139.76 GBP \n \n Price 101.00 + Fees 38.76 \n\n \n \n Quantity:\n \n \n 1 \n \n 2 \n \n 3 \n \n 4 \n \n 5 \n \n 6 \n \n \n \n \n Buy\n \n \n \n\n \n Total for 1:\n 139.76 GBP\n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n Category: Upper Tier\n \n Block: 212 \n \n Type: E-Ticket \n \n Available: 6 \n \n\n \n \n 140.45 GBP \n \n Price 101.50 + Fees 38.95 \n\n \n \n Quantity:\n \n \n 1 \n \n 2 \n \n 3 \n \n 4 \n \n 5 \n \n 6 \n \n \n \n \n Buy\n \n \n \n\n \n Total for 1:\n 140.45 GBP\n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n Category: Upper Tier\n \n Block: 207 \n \n Type: E-Ticket \n \n Available: 6 \n \n\n \n \n 145.22 GBP \n \n Price 105.00 + Fees 40.22 \n\n \n \n Quantity:\n \n \n 1 \n \n 2 \n \n 3 \n \n 4 \n \n 5 \n \n 6 \n \n \n \n \n Buy\n \n \n \n\n \n Total for 1:\n 145.22 GBP\n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n Category: Upper Tier\n \n Block: 211 \n \n Type: E-Ticket \n \n Available: 6 \n \n\n \n \n 147.95 GBP \n \n Price 107.00 + Fees 40.95 \n\n \n \n Quantity:\n \n \n 1 \n \n 2 \n \n 3 \n \n 4 \n \n 5 \n \n 6 \n \n \n \n \n Buy\n \n \n \n\n \n Total for 1:\n 147.95 GBP\n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n Category: Upper Tier\n \n Block: 206 \n \n Row: P \n \n Seats:\n 161 -\n 166 \n \n Type: E-Ticket \n \n Available: 6 \n \n\n \n \n 148.63 GBP \n \n Price 107.50 + Fees 41.13 \n\n \n \n Quantity:\n \n \n 1 \n \n 2 \n \n 3 \n \n 4 \n \n 5 \n \n 6 \n \n \n \n \n Buy\n \n \n \n\n \n Total for 1:\n 148.63 GBP\n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n Category: Lower Tier\n \n Block: N/A \n \n Type: E-Ticket \n \n Available: 6 \n \n\n \n \n 158.86 GBP \n \n Price 115.00 + Fees 43.86 \n\n \n \n Quantity:\n \n \n 1 \n \n 2 \n \n 3 \n \n 4 \n \n 5 \n \n 6 \n \n \n \n \n Buy\n \n \n \n\n \n Total for 1:\n 158.86 GBP\n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n Category: Lower Tier\n \n Block: 106 \n \n Type: E-Ticket \n \n Available: 6 \n \n\n \n \n 162.95 GBP \n \n Price 118.00 + Fees 44.95 \n\n \n \n Quantity:\n \n \n 1 \n \n 2 \n \n 3 \n \n 4 \n \n 5 \n \n 6 \n \n \n \n \n Buy\n \n \n \n\n \n Total for 1:\n 162.95 GBP\n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n Category: Floor Seating\n \n Block: N/A \n \n Type: E-Ticket \n \n Available: 6 \n \n\n \n \n 177.96 GBP \n \n Price 129.00 + Fees 48.96 \n\n \n \n Quantity:\n \n \n 1 \n \n 2 \n \n 3 \n \n 4 \n \n 5 \n \n 6 \n \n \n \n \n Buy\n \n \n \n\n \n Total for 1:\n 177.96 GBP\n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n Category: Upper Tier\n \n Block: 214 \n \n Type: E-Ticket \n \n Available: 6 \n \n\n \n \n 186.14 GBP \n \n Price 135.00 + Fees 51.14 \n\n \n \n Quantity:\n \n \n 1 \n \n 2 \n \n 3 \n \n 4 \n \n 5 \n \n 6 \n \n \n \n \n Buy\n \n \n \n\n \n Total for 1:\n 186.14 GBP\n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n Category: Floor Seating\n \n Block: D \n \n Row: J \n \n Seats:\n 25 -\n 30 \n \n Type: E-Ticket \n \n Available: 6 \n \n\n \n \n 186.14 GBP \n \n Price 135.00 + Fees 51.14 \n\n \n \n Quantity:\n \n \n 1 \n \n 2 \n \n 3 \n \n 4 \n \n 5 \n \n 6 \n \n \n \n \n Buy\n \n \n \n\n \n Total for 1:\n 186.14 GBP\n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n Category: Upper Tier\n \n Block: 205 \n \n Type: E-Ticket \n \n Available: 6 \n \n\n \n \n 186.14 GBP \n \n Price 135.00 + Fees 51.14 \n\n \n \n Quantity:\n \n \n 1 \n \n 2 \n \n 3 \n \n 4 \n \n 5 \n \n 6 \n \n \n \n \n Buy\n \n \n \n\n \n Total for 1:\n 186.14 GBP\n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n Category: Upper Tier\n \n Block: 213 \n \n Type: E-Ticket \n \n Available: 6 \n \n\n \n \n 188.87 GBP \n \n Price 137.00 + Fees 51.87 \n\n \n \n Quantity:\n \n \n 1 \n \n 2 \n \n 3 \n \n 4 \n \n 5 \n \n 6 \n \n \n \n \n Buy\n \n \n \n\n \n Total for 1:\n 188.87 GBP URL:https://rieuworld.com/event/newcastle-upon-tyne-07-10-2027/ LOCATION:Utilita Arena Newcastle\, Arena Way\, Newcastle upon Tyne\, United Kingdom ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/webp:https://rieuworld.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/Utilita-Arena-Newcastle.webp END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
