Elaborate costumes\, impressive stage scenery and atmospheric lighting will add another dimension to the performance\, creating an evening designed to entertain audiences of every generation. \nThe setting for this special concert will be Motorpoint Arena Nottingham\, located at Bolero Square in the city’s historic Lace Market district. Opened in 2000 as part of the National Ice Centre complex\, the arena has become one of the East Midlands’ most important entertainment venues\, regularly welcoming major international artists\, sporting events and large-scale productions. \nWith a concert capacity of approximately 10\,000 spectators in seated configurations\, Motorpoint Arena provides an impressive setting for André Rieu’s orchestral performances. Its central location makes it particularly convenient for visitors travelling from across Nottinghamshire\, Derbyshire\, Leicestershire and neighbouring regions. \nFor André Rieu\, however\, the real magic of a concert lies in the connection between the orchestra and its audience. His performances are famous for transforming enormous arenas into places of warmth and togetherness. A delicate violin solo can create a moment of quiet emotion\, while the opening notes of a familiar Strauss waltz can suddenly have thousands of spectators smiling\, clapping and swaying together. \nThe 24 September 2027 Nottingham concert forms part of a busy three-night sequence on André Rieu’s UK tour. Following a performance at OVO Hydro in Glasgow on Thursday\, 23 September\, the orchestra will travel south to Nottingham before continuing to bp pulse LIVE in Birmingham on Saturday\, 25 September. This sequence offers audiences across Britain several opportunities to experience the maestro’s latest touring production. \nNottingham itself provides an attractive setting for a memorable concert visit.
