Central European riverside city at dusk in autumn, during André Rieu’s November 2026 tour

André Rieu in Europe This November 2026: Bratislava, Vienna, Cologne, Dortmund and the Balkans

As the leaves fall across Central Europe, André Rieu and the Johann Strauss Orchestra are packing the stage for one of the most varied months of the 2026 season. Between 4 and 21 November, the tour travels from the Danube to the Rhine and on to the Balkans, with arena concerts in Bratislava, Vienna, Cologne, Dortmund, Belgrade, Zagreb and Ljubljana. Whether you live nearby or fancy a city break with a waltz at the centre, here is how the month unfolds.

November 2026 at a Glance

You can see every date, in order, on our concert calendar.

Week One: The Danube Double

Bratislava

The month opens in one of Europe’s most underrated capitals. Bratislava is small enough to explore on foot, with a pastel Old Town, a castle above the Danube and a relaxed, welcoming feel. The concerts take place at the TIPOS Aréna, and the evening begins at around 7:30 pm.

Vienna

Just an hour away by train or car, Vienna is the natural next stop, and for a Strauss orchestra it is almost a homecoming. The concerts are at the Wiener Stadthalle in the 15th district. The U6 stop Burggasse-Stadthalle is about a five-minute walk from the hall, and Westbahnhof is only one stop away on the same line. Trams 6 and 18 also stop at Burggasse-Stadthalle.

Because the two cities are so close, some fans may plan a double: a Thursday night in Bratislava followed by a Friday night in Vienna. Check the start time for each concert before you plan the travel.

Week Two: Germany’s Rhine and Ruhr

A week later, the orchestra heads to western Germany for two consecutive nights. On Friday 13 November the Lanxess Arena in Cologne hosts the concert, and on Saturday 14 November the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund follows. The two cities are a short train ride apart in the Rhine-Ruhr region, so it is easy to see one and stay in the other. For the full list of German dates, including January and May 2027, see our Germany concert guide.

Week Three: The Balkan Finale

The month ends with three nights in three capitals. Belgrade on Thursday 19 November kicks off the run, followed by Zagreb on Friday 20 November and Ljubljana on Saturday 21 November. Zagreb and Ljubljana are only a couple of hours apart by road, while Belgrade is a longer journey, so fans hoping to see more than one will need to plan ahead. Each city is a destination in its own right, with historic centres, lively cafés and plenty to explore before the concert.

Three Arenas, Three Capitals

The Belgrade Arena, formerly known as the Stark Arena, stands in the Novi Beograd district across the river from the old city. Arena Zagreb is also on the newer side of its city, in Novi Zagreb, while the Stožice Arena in Ljubljana sits in a sports park on the northern edge of the Slovenian capital. All three are modern, multi-purpose venues, so allow a little extra time to get there, especially if you are travelling by public transport for the first time.

What to Wear in November

These are indoor arena concerts, so you will be warm inside, but November evenings can be cold on the way there. A good coat, comfortable shoes and a smart-casual outfit are all you need. For ideas, read our guide to what to wear to an André Rieu concert.

Planning Your Trip

With the first concerts only days away, ticket options are listed on each event page. As always, buy from official or recognised sellers to avoid inflated prices, and book your hotel early, because rooms near the arenas fill up quickly on concert nights. Our hotel recommendations include guides for several tour cities.

What Comes Next

After the November run, the next stop is home: André returns to Maastricht for the Christmas concerts at the MECC in December. If you are planning ahead, our Christmas concerts guide has the dates and practical details.

A Month Worth Following

Few tours cover as much ground in so few weeks. From a pastel Old Town on the Danube to the arenas of the Balkans, November is a chance to hear the waltzes of Strauss in some of the continent’s most beautiful cities.
