Nuremberg, 14/01/2027

André Rieu and the Johann Strauss Orchestra bring their touring production to Nuremberg’s Arena Nürnberger Versicherung on Thursday, 14 January 2027, the night before the tour continues to Stuttgart. The concert starts at 20:00.

Nuremberg and the wider Franconia region have shown consistent enthusiasm for major touring productions, and Rieu’s shows have built a strong following in Bavaria over many years. The mix of grand orchestral sound and warm, accessible showmanship continues to draw audiences from across the region.

Expect a programme moving between sweeping Strauss waltzes, operatic highlights, popular film themes and well-loved classics, staged with the elaborate costumes, lighting design and theatrical flourishes that have become the production’s trademark. Guest vocalists and instrumental soloists typically join the orchestra throughout the evening.

Arena Nürnberger Versicherung, also known as PSD Bank Nürnberg Arena, has a concert capacity of up to 11,000, making it one of the region’s leading venues for major touring shows and events.

Doors are expected to open roughly ninety minutes before the 20:00 start. The performance typically runs for about two and a half hours, including a 20-minute interval.

Nuremberg’s historic old town, imperial castle and Christmas market heritage make it an easy city to combine with a concert visit, particularly for anyone travelling from elsewhere in Bavaria.

The Nuremberg date sits within a busy early-2027 stretch of German dates, with the tour continuing to Stuttgart the following day, on 13 January, as part of the same run.

Tickets for Nuremberg are available now, and given the pace at which other stops on this tour have moved, early booking is worth considering for anyone hoping to see André Rieu and the Johann Strauss Orchestra live on 14 January.
