André Rieu and the Johann Strauss Orchestra bring their touring production to Hannover’s ZAG-Arena on Friday, 29 January 2027, closing out this stretch of German dates. The concert starts at 20:00.
Hannover has a strong tradition as a concert destination in northern Germany, and the ZAG-Arena regularly hosts some of the biggest touring productions to pass through the region. Rieu’s blend of grand orchestral sound and warm, accessible showmanship has built a loyal following across the country over many years of touring.
Expect a programme moving between sweeping Strauss waltzes, operatic highlights, popular film themes and well-loved classics, staged with the elaborate costumes, lighting design and theatrical flourishes that have become the production’s trademark. Guest vocalists and instrumental soloists typically join the orchestra throughout the evening.
ZAG-Arena, previously known as TUI Arena, opened in 2000 and remains the largest indoor venue in the Hannover region, with a concert capacity of up to 14,000.
Doors are expected to open roughly ninety minutes before the 20:00 start. The performance typically runs for about two and a half hours, including a 20-minute interval.
Hannover’s compact city centre, extensive gardens at Herrenhausen and easy transport links make it a convenient base for anyone extending the concert into a longer visit to the region.
The Hannover date closes out this stretch of German shows, following earlier stops in Munich, Mannheim and Rostock earlier in the same touring period.
Tickets for Hannover are available now, and given the pace at which other stops on this tour have moved, early booking is worth considering for anyone hoping to see André Rieu and the Johann Strauss Orchestra live on 29 January.
